Sham valley or the Apricot valley is a short distance ahead of Likir village. This valley is known as apricot valley as apricot flowers blossom there in winter. The Nubra Valley is at a height of approximately 10,000 feet above sea level. This valley is also known as Dumra Valley. The Dumra is a Tibetan name that means Valley of Flowers. This valley is reached after crossing the Khardung-La pass, the world’s highest motorable road. While visiting, both Indian residents and foreigners require an inner-line permit. The Nubra Valley holds some of the most beautiful views and will etch its memories in the deepest part of your heart.

The Pangong Tso is located at the heart of the Himalayas. The Pangong Tso is a 134 KM lake that provides jaw-dropping views of the lake which is synced with the rustic mountains. It is one of the largest lakes in Asia, and more than 60 % of the Lake lies in China. This lake is considered one of the most beautiful lakes, and one must catch hold of this view for once.

The Gurudwara Pathar Sahib was established in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This Gurudwara is located 22 KM from Leh. The altitude of this Gurudwara is 3600 metres. It is believed Guru Nanak Ji conquered a demon there while meditating. A demon tried to crush Guru Nanak Ji with a boulder, but the boulder, while rolling down towards Guru Nanak Ji melted down. The boulder with Guru Nanak Ji’s body imprints and footprints of the demon is displayed there. Langar is served to everyone irrespective of region, gender, or religion.
