In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards, and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age.

About Day Excursion of Wayanad:

• Our day excursion trip starts with a Pickup from your Hotel in Munnar at 09:00 AM by our driver cum who is very experienced and knowledgeable in this road or route.
• Enjoy the beautiful route of Wayanad and reached the wildlife sanctuary and start exploring the wild animals all around click pictures and make videos 
• Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife and safari park. It is the 2nd largest wildlife reserve in Kerala which is very beautiful and neat and clean as compared to other wildlife sanctuaries.
• You can visit this bio-rich eco-friendly protective area. It is home to moist and dry deciduous trees and semi-evergreen forests. Shrubs and creepers can also be seen and explore other species of insects.
• You can admire the dense forested Malabar Hills, enchanting views, elephant population, and other wild animals. Being open throughout the year, you can see diverse aspects of the wildlife in different seasons and you can have your lunch also and take some rest.
• After lunch and a little relaxation, you can visit the plantation area where different types of tea and coffee plantations are done and feel the wind and smell of tea. You can also purchase some for your domestic use and also give gifts to your loved ones.
• After all the fun activities we will head towards the open space where you can have some evening snacks for refreshments and then our driver cum local guide will drop you at your hotel and conclude the one-day Wayanad trip.
