About the Kareri Lake Campsite:
- It has an Elevation of 2934 m above sea level. Kareri Lake is a shallow high elevation freshwater lake located on the southern spur of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km northwest of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, India.
- Kareri lake is best known for being a trekking destination in the Dhauladhars. Kareri Lake Trek is a 13 km easy-to-moderate trek covering a 5 km forest area including mixed pine and broadleaf forests followed by grasslands interspersed with pine and deodar in the second half of the trail carved into granite rocks.
About Camping in Kareri Lake:
- A warm welcome drink with a traditional welcome will be offered to you as you arrive at the checking point of the camp and get to know about the fun-filled activity and all other kinds of stuff.
