Know before you book

  • During the Jawai Leopard safari, it is important to follow certain rules to ensure everyone's safety and respect the wildlife. 
  • The guests should always remain inside the Gypsy unless permitted by the host or driver. 
  • Racing behind a leopard is strictly prohibited, as is littering.
  • When in the leopard's territory, it is recommended to keep voices down and put phones on silent. Night safaris are not allowed, and spotlights should not be used. 
  • There are two options for booking a safari: a private jeep vehicle, where the entire vehicle is reserved for one group of up to six people, or a shared jeep vehicle. 
  • All safaris start from Jawai and Bera at the specified reporting time.  
  • If needed, pick-up and drop-off services are available from Sumerpur and Sheoganj to Jawai Safaris for an extra charge of 1500.00 INR per Gypsy per safari. 
  • However, this service is only available for private Gypsy bookings. 
  • If a safari is cancelled more than 30 days in advance, a 10% deduction from the total amount will be made, and the rest will be refunded. 
  • If cancelled between 30 and 15 days before the safari, a 20% deduction will be made. 
  • Cancellation between 15 and 7 days before the safari results in a 50% deduction, and any cancellations made within 7 days of the safari will result in a 100% deduction.
