About Uttarkashi:

  • Located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, Uttarkashi is both a town and the district capital. At an elevation of 3,796 feet (1,158 meters), it may be found in the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • There are three temples in the area, all of which honour different deities: Shiva at the Vishwanath Temple, the local deity at the Kandar Devta Temple, and Ganga at the Gangotri Temple.

About the Dodital Darwa Pass Trek:

  • Following a briefing in Dehradun, you'll travel to a lovely hamlet in the Bhatwari Tehsil.
  • If you have booked a ride with Bikat from Dehradun to Agoda, you will meet at the agreed time and location in the morning.
  • From Sangamchetti, where the Assi Ganga and Varna rivers meet, we follow a dirt path upward to our place of origin.
  • We will have another official briefing regarding our hike after we have returned to base camp.
  • We leave the Agoda area and go towards the Dodital camping area by a narrow stairway that leads higher.
