About Chitkul:
- Chitkul, located in the heart of the Himalayas, is a serene village found in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. In the winter, it is mostly snow-laden, adding to the beauty of the place.
- One of the main attractions of this place is the Baspa River which gracefully flows through the village nurturing the soil around it. It is also proven to have the cleanest air in India thereby being a perfect destination for people who want a break from the polluted cities.
About Delhi to Chitkul Packages with Kinnaur Valley:
- Get ready by 6:00 PM and reach Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. Meet up with the tour guide there and depart by 6:30 PM.
- After an overnight journey, we reach Saharan in the morning. Visitors can freshen up here. After having breakfast head over to Sri Bhima Kaali temple.
- After leaving the temple, the journey to Chitkul is resumed. After reaching Chitkul in the afternoon, visitors can enjoy the sights around Chitkul, check in to their hotel, have a feast for dinner with a bonfire later in the night and head to bed.
- The next day, after breakfast, started moving towards the ITBP camp. One can enjoy the view of the snow-laden mountains in the Baspa Valley on the way
- On returning from the camp, we start on a short trek towards the other side of the Baspa River while enjoying the view of the forest on one side and the Baspa River on the other.
- Return to the hotel by dusk to enjoy a beautiful sunset and dinner around the bonfire.
- The next day, after breakfast we start moving from Chitkul to Kalpa in between which we make stops at Roghi suicide point and Reckong Peo Market.
- On exploring Kalpa village and the temple there, we have dinner and spend the night at Kalpa village.
- The following day, we start heading towards Shimla where we get to see the Kinnaur Kailash peaks.
- In the evening we board a bus to Delhi from Shima. Our overnight journey to Delhi marks the end of the trip.
