Know Before you go for Valley of Flowers Trek from Haridwar:

  • You will need to bring your original and a copy of a Valid ID Proof. 
  • Pack warm sets of clothes, a fleece jacket, and a windproof jacket. 
  • Don't forget to bring wool or fleece gloves, hats, scarves and thermal inners. 
  • Wear a good pair of trekking shoes with a good grip during your trek. Make sure it is waterproof.
  • Have a couple of pairs of waterproof trekking clothes and a raincoat. 
  • Your rucksack weight should be between 40-60 ltr and your Daypack between 10-20 Ltr. 
  • Keep a water bottle and dry fruits or energy bars to keep yourself hydrated and energized during the trek. 
  • Pack your sunscreen, moisturizer and other toiletries. 
  • First Aid Kit and your necessary medications must be with you.
  • The trails can get challenging and paths are prone to avalanches, so make sure you are following the trek guidelines properly. 
  • Pay attention to the instructions and always follow your Trek Leader. 
  • Avoid trekking without the guidance of a Trek Guide.
  • You must maintain the hygiene of the surroundings and avoid littering around. 
  • Children above the age of 10 are free to join the trek, however, parents/guidance must keep the children under their supervision.
  • The Valley of Flowers Trek takes you to higher altitudes. Individuals having respiratory problems or any severe medical conditions should avoid the trek. 
  • The trails have steep ascents and can get challenging to cross. Expectant mothers and elderly members should avoid the trek. 
  • Individuals participating in the trek must maintain their fitness level. 
  • Consult medical professionals and assess your fitness level before you join the Valley of Flowers Trek. 
  • Prevent clothing that is uncomfortable (like saris, etc.)
  • Carrying jewellery or other valuables isn't advisable.
  • Smoking of cigarettes or consumption of liquor at the premises is allowed.
  • Kindly get rid of plastics in a manner that is appropriate.
  • Plucking of flowers/fruits is strictly forbidden in-house or within the areas around.
  • Washroom facilities are common for all.
  • The guide or instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to engage in the experience.
  • Participants are not permitted to carry any object that is a razor-sharp lighter, luggage case, alcohol, blade, etc.
  • The Valley of Flowers Trek may be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. The new time slot will be informed in this scenario accordingly.
