Know before you book
- You will need to bring your original and a copy of a Valid ID Proof.
- Pack warm sets of clothes, a fleece jacket, and a windproof jacket.
- Don't forget to bring wool or fleece gloves, hats, scarves and thermal inners.
- Wear a good pair of trekking shoes with a good grip during your trek. Make sure it is waterproof.
- Have a couple of pairs of waterproof trekking clothes and a raincoat.
- Your rucksack weight should be between 40-60 ltr and your Daypack between 10-20 Ltr.
- Keep a water bottle and dry fruits or energy bars to keep yourself hydrated and energized during the trek.

How To Reach
By Air:The Jolly Grant Airport(DED) is at a distance of 272 KM from Joshimath, which is the nearest airport. Visitors can book a taxi from the airport to Joshimath.
By Road:Joshimath can be reached by driving or by private or government buses. There are a number of buses that run from different cities by connecting routes to reach Joshimath or you can also book a cab.
By Train:Visitors can reach the nearest railway station, i.e., the Rishikesh Railway Station(RKSH) which is at a distance of 250 KM on NH 58. Then a taxi or a bus may be boarded to reach the destination.
