  • Deep in the Mookambika Sanctuary, you get to see the most spoken about place, Kodachadri which often attracts tourists because of the temples situated in the location.
  • Hiking through the dense forests, in the cold wind, often lets you enjoy the beauty of the nature and be amazed at the views you come across.

About the Activity:

  • The Activity starts from Bangalore and you will be picked up in a bus from your pickup point.
  • Soon after reaching the base, you will meet your instructor who will brief you about the various rules and regulations to be followed.
  • Now, you will start trekking from the base station to Kodachadri.
  • Reach the location, enjoy the view and take plenty of pictures of the flora and fauna you are surrounded with.
  • The Hidlumane falls offer you a mesmerising view.
  • Reach back to the camp, enjoy a good dinner and chat with your friends.
  • The Next day, have a hearty breakfast and get ready to go to Bangalore. During this time, we will also stop at Nagara Fort / Shethihalli Church for various activities.
  • Arrive at Bangalore and your trip ends here.

Know before you go Trekking at Kodachadri:

  • Prevent clothing that is uncomfortable (like saris, etc.)
  • Carrying jewellery or other valuables isn't advisable.
  • Smoking of cigarettes or consumption of liquor at the premises is allowed.
  • Kindly get rid of plastics in a manner that is appropriate.
  • Plucking of flowers/fruits is strictly forbidden in-house or within the areas around.
  • Washroom facilities are common for all.
  • The guide or instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to engage in the experience.
  • Participants are not permitted to carry any object that is a razor-sharp lighter, luggage case, alcohol, blade, etc.
  • The Kodachadri trek may be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. The new time slot will be informed in this scenario accordingly.  

How To Reach


By Air:The nearest airport to the city is the Mangalore International Airport(IXE) which is around 60 KM away from the Udupi district. Visitors can take a taxi or bus from the airport to reach this place.

By Road:Udupi has a good road network connectivity with the other cities of Karnataka that includes Mangalore, Madikeri, etc. Therefore, there are a number of bus and taxi services to reach this place.

By Train:Udupi Railway Station(UD) is well- connected with the major rail networks. Alternatively, one may take trains to Mangalore, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mysore & other nearby places.
