• By Flight:- Chandigarh Airport is the nearest airport to Shimla at a distance of 120 km. After getting to the airport, you can avail a taxi, or a car to reach Shimla. 
• By Rail:- Unfortunately, there is no direct train to Shimla. Anyhow, you have to complete your train journey in two phases only. But after reaching the station, you will find many options of road transport to reach the destination. 
• By Road:- Delhi to Shimla via Karnal, is stated to be the shortest way to travel to Shimla by road within 7 to 8 hours. Regular buses are available by which you can reach the desired location in time.
