How to Reach Coorg:
- By Air: The nearest airport to Coorg is the Kannur International Airport which is at a distance of 82 KM.
- By Rail: Mysore Junction, about 96 KM away, is the nearest railway station to Coorg.
- By Land: There are AC and non-AC buses via KSRTC plying between Bangalore and Madikeri that take approximately 6 hours to attain Bhagamandala (289 KM). From there you could rent nearby vehicles to reach the Forest Office at Tala Cauvery. After that, the hike through the wooded area must be undertaken on foot.
