There is Ramnagar Fort where is located. Built-in typical Mughal architectural style, the building has been the residence of the Varanasi royal family since the 18th century.
• A guided Maharaja boat tour lasts 4-5 hours and can be done in the morning or evening. Rides start at 8 am in the summer, any time between 8 am and 8 pm.
• 3:30 pm and 3 pm in winter. If the summer is too harsh, you can travel by taxi. The excursion starts at Assi Ghat and crosses the river by boat to Ramnagar Palace. 
• In addition to seeing the palace from the inside, you can also take a short stroll through the market surrounding the fort. 
• Also included in the excursion is the 200-year-old ancient Durga Temple nearby. After the tour, return to Assi Ghat.
