About Kamshet Paragliding:
- Arrive at the take-off point for Paragliding at Kamshet after being driven from the base in a Jeep. Travel expense for the Jeep will not be included in the Paragliding in Kamshet price.
- A small session for safety instructions and a form citing your health status will prepare you for Kamshet Paragliding.
- You will be given safety equipment and secure gear for the flight. The instructor and pilot will be accompanying you are highly trained and will aid in a safe experience.
- Run along the edge of the hill for a few minutes, before you take flight with your guide into the air.
- The pilot will be flying with you and adjusting the glider to the direction of the wind to keep you safe.
- Take off and revel in the panoramic view of the Sahyadri Mountains with the birds-eye view of the Kamshet village for 8-20 Mins (Depends on the Package Selection).
- The pilot will help you land safely after which you will be transferred to the place of take-off.
Note:
- You will have to go by Jeep from the base to the take off site at a cost of INR 600/Jeep, not included in the Paragliding in Kamshet cost. The Jeep price will be divided in to number of people sitting on the jeep. The Jeep charges are one way.
Know before you book
- Children from 12-18 years are allowed to go Paragliding at Kamshet. Children in this age group must be accompanied by their parents/guardians. The weight limit is a maximum of 90 kg.
- The activity timing is subject to vary depending on wind conditions, and any modifications will be informed prior to the Service Date.
- Senior citizens with any medical conditions need to report the same to the operator at the site. The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be a part of Kamshet Paragliding.
- Participants must pay attention to the guidelines given by the instructor before and after the activity. Breakage or damage to any item will be charged at the actual price.
- Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp objects, a lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, etc. Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages before and after Paragliding activity.
- Personal expenses or items of personal nature are not included in the package. Any meals or transportation not included in the itinerary are assumed to be excluded from the package.
- Prefer a T-shirt, full pants, shoes (please avoid slippers/open footwear), cap. Please carry water bottles with you.
- All participants have to furnish an Indemnity Form. You need to report near Maruti Showroom, Kamshet, Maharashtra for Paragliding Kamshet.
- Activity is not suggested for women who are more than three months pregnant. Anybody with a major surgery, a broken leg/arm or with chronic back or neck problems are not recommended.
- The group size for Kamshet Paragliding depends upon the weather as well as the number of pilots available in the slot.
