About the Dodital Trek:

• Dodital is a freshwater lake in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. One of the most well-known myths claims that Lord Ganesha made this location his home. This area is home to a Ganesha temple. This lake also goes by the name "Dhundital," which is Ganesh tal, or the lake of Ganesha.
• The Dodital Trek is one of the most picturesque treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. It is blessed with elevated grassland that is covered in snow during the winter, gurgling streams, deep alpine woodland, and a rich variety of flowers. The trip begins in the Bhagirathi valley, which is tucked away at a height of 1,350 metres. It then winds through a mystical forest and softly climbs to Darwa Top at a towering elevation of 4,150 metres. The peaceful lake's picturesque natural setting is perfect for overnight camping. A chance exists to tour the Asi Ganga valley.

How to Reach:

• By Air: Jollygrant Airport, Dehradun is the closest airport and well connected to major cities with flights available frequently.
• By Train: Dehradun Railway Station is the nearest and is well connected to cities and trains are available frequently.
• By Road: Government-runned buses and private buses are available daily and facility of taxis is also there or you can travel with your own vechiles. The roads are well connected and the route is safe.

About Dodital Trek:

• The amazing journey begins from Dehradun as we drive to Agoda from there through the panoramic landscapes, reach the campsite and enjoy under the starry sky.
• In the morning, we will start the first trek of the day after a healthy breakfast. We will trek to Dodital campsite. The route is quite adventurous and once we reach there the views are heavenly and we can enjoy the sunset and sunrise from the location.
• The next morning, we will trek to Darwa Pass, the route is filled with snow throughout and there are a lot of streams flowing in our way. As we reach the location we get majestic views of the valleys and landscape panoramas as well. We will spend the night at Dodital campsite.
• The next morning is the last morning at the location, we will return back to Agoda through the same route, enjoying and sharing our experiences on the way to Agoda. Once we reach the location, we will stay overnight at the location.
• Day 5 is the last day of the trek as we drive back to Dehradun from Agoda and end our amazing adventurous journey.
