About Churdhar Trek:
- Churdhar is sometimes referred to as "Chur Chandani," which means moonlit mountain. There are three ways to approach the summit: via Nauradhar (16 km from Sirmaur), Saran (8 km from Chaupal, Shimla), and Pulhwal (8 km) (Chaupal, Shimla). It is a location of immense religious significance and is situated in the state's Sirmaur district. A huge statue of Lord Shiva that towers over Churdhar Peak is both enthralling to look at and transports you to the stories of ancient Indian epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana.
- One of the most exciting treks close to Shimla is Churdhar. On a clear, sunny day, one can see stunning views of the Dhauladhar, the Greater Himalayas, and some enormous peaks in Uttarakhand, including Swargarohini (6,252 m), Bandarpoonch (6,316 m), Kedarnath (6,940 m), and Badrinath (7,138 m).
- Reach Shimla at the decided location and meet your guide and fellow trekkers and start the exciting journey.
- We will drive to Saran from Shimla and reach the base camp after some trekking through forested areas and viewpoints and spend the night over there and chill out.
- The next morning, wake up to the beautiful view, freshen up and start the trekking journey. We will trek to Kala Bang Basecamp via Churdhar Temple.
- Passing through mesmerizing views we reach Jam Nallah and spend the night there, enjoying with hot meals and relaxing under the stars.
- In the morning, enjoy the last meal of the trip, freshen up and start the trek back towards Saran, from there we will drive back to Shimla and reach there with lots of memories and experiences.
