DAY 1 : TRAVEL TO MYSORE & MYSORE SIGHTSEEING
On the first day of the tour you will be travelling from Bangalore to Mysore for sightseeing. After having your breakfast, you will head towards the Chamundi Hill Temple which is very famous for it’s Chamundeswari temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeswari, an incarnation of Goddess Parvathi who took this form to destroy Mahishasura. This is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Karnataka and one of the top places to visit in Mysore.
The next stop will be at the Mysore Palace. The Mysore Palace was the official residence of the former royal family of Mysore, and also housed the durbar. It is one of the largest palaces in India and one of the best tourist places to visit in Mysore. Mysore Palace is the venue for famous Mysore Dasara and it is often used to promote Mysore Tourism. After this you will be heading to the Railway Museum. This Museum was established in 1979 by Indian Railways and it was the earliest railway museums set up in India. A visit to Railway Museum is one of the top things to do in Mysore. Next, you will be taken to the St. Philomena’s Cathedral which is a Catholic Church that was built in honor of St. Philomena in the Diocese of Mysore, India. Last stop for the day will be the Brindavan gardens which ais a famous garden laid out below the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. This is one of the best tourist places to visit in Mysore. The garden is enriched with fountains, terraces, parterres, running and cascading water channels, lush green lawns & flower beds.

DAY 2 : MYSORE SIGHTSEEING
The next day, after you are done with your breakfast, you will be visiting the Jayachamajendra Zoo/Mysore Zoo. The Mysore Zoo is one of the oldest and one of the best zoo parks in South India. It is also one of the best among Mysore places to visit and is often used to promote Mysore Tourism along with Mysore Palace. The Zoo is famous for breeding some very rare animals in captivity. It has a fine collection of animals like lions, tigers, hyena, deer, elephants, rhinos, king cobras and birds.
Next, we shall be heading to the Lalitha Mahal Palace which is located close near the Chamundi Hill Road. It is one of the top Mysore tourist places and among the best palaces in Mysore. Built in 1921 by Maharaja Krishna Raja Wodeyar Bahaddur IV, this palace initially housed royal guests. Onwards to explore more history, you’ll be visiting the Regional Museum Of Natural History, located on the banks of Karanji Lake, which is also one of the best Mysore tourist places. The museum exhibits plants, animals and geology of the southern region of India.
Visually challenged students can feel the exhibits of animals on the premises. The museum provides an extracurricular activity for schools and promotes environmental awareness. They also arrange film shows on topics related to natural history.
Heading towards the next spot, this will be the most peaceful place which is known as the Karanji lake (also called as fountain lake) is maintained by the Zoological department of Mysore and a huge fountain is installed inside the lake. This lake also has India's largest and first walkthrough aviary and a butterfly garden. The butterfly park has been created on a small island within the Karanji Lake.
Karanji Lake has boating facilities on all days except Tuesdays. Boating on the lake is a favorite activity with row boats and pedal boats.

DAY 3 : TRAVEL TO OOTY & OOTY SIGHTSEEING
After having your breakfast, you’ll be heading towards Ooty. On arrival, first you’ll be visiting the Ooty Lake. Ooty Lake is an artificial lake situated in the beautiful hill station of Ooty. It is one of the most visited tourist places in Ooty and also one of the popular places to represent Ooty Tourism. It is also one of the top attractions that is included in Ooty packages. The lake is surrounded by groves of Eucalyptus trees with a railway line running along one shore.
Next, we shall be visiting the Botanical Gardens situated on the foothills of Dodabetta Peak in Ooty. The original purpose of the Botanical Gardens was to promote and study the various flora in and around Nilgiris. Now, it is open to the public as a park that can be enjoyed by visitors and is marked as one of the best botanical Gardens.
After this, you’ll get to experience the making of tea leaves and it’s process at the Tea Factory and Museum. Tea Factory & Museum is situated on Doddabetta Road in Ooty. Amidst the blue hills of Nilgiris, it is one of the popular tea factories in Tamilnadu and among the must visit Ooty Tourist Places. Here you can learn about the origin of different kinds of tea leaves that are used across the globe along with the history of tea in India and its evolution in the Nilgiris. The Doddabetta tea factory in Ooty also offers beautiful views of the valley, and the towering mountain peaks surrounding it.
After gaining some practical knowledge and having some tea at the museum, you’ll be visiting the Dodabetta Peak. Doddabetta is the highest point in Nilgiri Mountains and also one of the popular places to visit in Ooty. The area surrounding Doddabetta is mostly forested. Sholas cover the hollows of its slopes. Tall rhododendron trees, flowering sub-alpine shrubs and herbs are common, even very near the peak. One can have a magnificent panoramic view of the landscape, beautiful valley, plains of Coimbatore and the flat highlands of Mysore from the peak.

DAY 4 : COONOOR SIGHTSEEING
After having your breakfast, you’ll be heading for sightseeing at the Ketti Valley Viewpoint which is a popular vantage point situated on Ooty - Coonoor Road in Nilgiris district of Tamilnadu. It is one the most beautiful sightseeing places in Ooty and also one of the top places to experince Ooty Tourism. The view point provides a panoramic view of the Ketti Valley, the largest valley in the Nilgiris, and its beautiful surroundings. Also known as Switzerland of Nilgiris, the Ketti Valley is a heaven for nature lovers and photographers.
After experiencing scenic views, you’ll be taken to the Sim's park to witness it’s diverse flora and fauna. This park cum botanical garden contains many species of trees and shrubs not found in Ooty.
Sim's Park has wonderful landscaped gardens & walkways lined up with beautiful flowers that is spread across and variety of flower plants collected from different parts of the country. There is a lake situated inside the park that offers boating facility as well.
Next you’ll be taken to Lamb's Rock which is situated in Burliar village and it is one of the favorite picnic spots from Coonoor. Named after Captain Lamb who attempted to open a path to this place, the rock drops down several hundred feet to disappear in thick jungle below. The plains of Coimbatore and surrounding valleys offer magnificient views from this spot.
After this, you’ll be visiting a similar scenic place, i.e, the Dolphin’s Nose, that offers a fascinating viewpoint with picturesque views of the Hills of Nilgiris.
